The Corner Office is a fantastic collection of advice by CEOs and leaders from across the gamut of industries. Adam Bryant does an impeccable job of gathering, organizing, and putting into context these nuggets of information.
The book spans three ideas: Succeeding, Managing, and Leading, and the individual chapters each cover topics such as “Team Smarts”, “Smart Interviewing”, and “Creating a Culture”. I absolutely love the format. It’s a good read, and I can already imagine that it will be an easy reference for me when I run into leadership dilemmas or doubts.
This is a must-read for all executives, but will especially help those who are just starting out on their management journey.
