I was recently turned onto a company named Story Brand by a client. The founder, Donald Miller, wrote this book, and his message really hits home for me.
It’s about clarifying your business’ marketing messages using a story structure. The idea is to attract customers by making them the hero of a story. Your business is simply the guide.
I’ve always been a huge fan of clear, simple, and customer-centric messaging, so I’m totally on board with this approach. Even for those of you with excellent messaging, I think the framework Miller lays out can provide some great value.
My favorite part is that the book is a great qualifier for my clients. If it resonates with you, we’ll be a great fit to work together. If it seems like a waste of time, maybe not so much.
